USAJOBS caps federal resumes at two pages and screens them against the exact language in the job announcement. Here's what we build into every federal package.
What We Include
- Full name, email, and phone number at the top
- Employer name, job title, and series/grade for each position
- Start and end dates (month and year) plus hours worked per week
- Plain-language descriptions tied to the announcement's duties and qualifications
- Education, certifications, and licenses required by the announcement
- Relevant volunteer work when it supports your qualifications
What We Leave Out
- Classified or government-sensitive information
- Your Social Security Number
- A photo of yourself
- Age, sex, religion, or other personal details
- Acronyms or jargon a reviewer outside your field wouldn't recognize
- Encrypted or digitally signed file attachments

Packages are based on years of experience: Early Career (up to 3 years), Mid-Career (4–19 years), and Late Career (20+ years). If you're applying to a federal or government position on USAJOBS, choose the Federal & Government Resume package instead and select your GS grade in the order form.
That's common. Add a note in the order form with the job announcement link or title, and we'll confirm the appropriate grade range before we start writing.
All packages, including the federal package, are delivered within 3 business days of your order and completed intake form.
Every package includes 2 rounds of revisions at no extra cost. If you need further changes beyond that, we're happy to quote an update.
Yes. You can add either at checkout, or reach out after delivery and we'll invoice the add-on separately.
Every resume is delivered in both Word (.docx) and PDF, so you can edit it yourself or submit it as-is.
It helps but isn't required. Uploading a previous resume or a rough list of your work history speeds up the writing process and reduces back-and-forth during revisions.
